DISTRICT NURSES

The District Nurse provides skilled nursing care for people living at home in the community and who cannot get to the surgery, by offering advice and information, treatment and support.

The District Nurses are qualified registered nurses who have undertaken further training to plan, assess and provide skilled nursing care to people in their homes.

They lead a team of nursing staff and ensures that the care provided is properly planned and delivered.
