Nurses

Practice nurses provide care for a variety of routine health needs. They can assist with wound care and minor procedures, take blood samples and perform basic tests such as cervical screenings (smear tests), give vaccinations and immunisations and manage long-term conditions such as diabetes, asthma and COPD.

Private Work

Our Private Work team deals with non-NHS requests that require a doctor's time outside of their NHS duties. The team processes requests for private medical reports, letters, certificates and forms (such as benefits, firearms and travel cancellation), liaises with patients and third parties, arranges payment of any applicable fees, and coordinates the completion and return of documentation.

Administration

Our Administration Team is made up of Care Navigators, Receptionists, Medical Secretaries and Administrators. All are trained to deal with a wide variety of tasks in a sympathetic manner with complete confidentiality. Our receptionists are trained to ask questions and direct you to the most suitable person to deal with your concern.

Musculoskeletal First Contact Practitioner

Most FCP appointments are 20 minutes. In one session the MSK FCP can assess and diagnose in order to be able to give advice and guidance on self care, refer (where necessary), administer joint/soft tissue injections (if qualified) and more. Appointments can be made by contacting the practice.
