Health Connections Mendip - and a Talking Cafe in Shepton Mallet!
Health Connections Mendip is a new service offering non-medical health and wellbeing support. Health Connectors can connect people to free and low cost local services, such as exercise classes and support groups. They also offer one to one appointments where they can listen to your health story, support you in managing a long term health condition of assist you in setting health-related goals and making changes that are meaningful to you. The service is free and is open to adult patients of Mendip GP practices. Patients can self-refer to the service by calling 01373 468368 or emailing mendip.healthconnections@nhs.net

There is a popular Talking cafe held every Tuesday and Thursday in Peppers, Shepton Mallet between 10am and 12 noon. It is open to all, and you are welcome to drop in and find out about services and support groups, or just meet and chat over a coffee or tea!

Meet new people, make new friends, and chat to a community health champion about activities, support groups and services in the community.
Wells Talking Café is held at Pickwick's Country Kitchen, Broad Street, Wells on alternate Thursdays between 10 am and 12 pm.
Glastonbury Talking Café is held every Tuesday at Tor Leisure, Street Road, Glastonbury from 10 am to 12 pm (term time).
Street Talking Café is held at Crispin Community Centre, High Street, Street on alternate Wednesdays between 10 am and 12 pm.
Frome Talking Cafe is held at the Cheese and Grain on Mondays 10am - 12pm

'On Track' Group
Come along to this friendly peer led group where you can join people who are setting goals that might improve their health and wellbeing.
